Dear Sir: –
I wish to heartily thank you for the honor you conferred upon me in replying to my inquiry about your falsifying descriptions and illistrations [!] in your works, so I could expose the „miserable slander“. I inclose a clipping that gives your reply.
I will esteem it a great favor if you will send me a copy of „Die Wahrheit“ when it is published, and inclose ten cents silver; if this is not enough I will send more. I have all your works that have been translated into English so far as I know, and wish for that one. Send it in German; a friend will read it for me.
With the highest esteem, and hoping you will live to triumph over all opponents,
Yours very respectfully
C. W. Bennett.
