My Dear Haeckel,

I am now making up my Annual Report on the state of the Challenger work, and I would like to get in all accounts before the end of this months [!].

If you have any accounts for the drawing || of the plates kindly send them in at once, and they will then be paid before the end of March.

If you have any M.S. which is ready for the printer now I could pay you a portion of your honorarium if you can send it || to me.

I hope you will come here in April. I hear they are going to make you an L.L.D. What a swell you will be
