My dear Sir.

I have this morning received sheets 8–10 with your letter. Your instructions with respect to the nomenclature shall be followed.

Personally I am quite of your opinion that it is best & most just as || well as most convenient to give as authority the man who first uses the combined name (generic & specific), but in most of the Challenger Reports though not in all the British Association rules have been followed. Each author has gone according to his own opinion. ||
