My Dear Haeckel

You have not marked sheets 1 and 2. of the Radiolaria for press but I suppose you are satisfied with them and that they may go to the press as well as those which you have since sent marked for press. || I enclose you a proof of your notes on the Medusa which is to go into the narrative. Kindly say if it be all right and may go to press.

I hope to be able to send you the two volumes of the narrative by the end of January, and || it is just possible that I may pay you a visit in March.
