I have received safely your magnificent lot of manuscript which will at once be put in the hands of the printer. I am delighted to learn that your work is getting on so well: it will be || a great pleasure to have it printed during next summer and issued from the press.
I can see no objections to the proposals you make with respect to the division of the matter in the two volumes as well as your proposal about the third volume: it would, of course, || be better to have the index in the second volume of text, unless it would make them if too unequal size.
Delighted also to hear that Giltsch is engaged in the preparation of the last series of plates. I will let you know some time before you may expect me at Jena.
