I am not quite sure that I made my meaning clear yesterday that we hope to have the pleasure of seeing you at 6 o’clock || to morrow (Friday Oct. 19th) and not to day – when I am obliged to dine out –

I hoped to have seen you this morning but as you have not || appeared I send this note to Clarger S. to prevent any mistake
