Very often, since September, when I last heard from you, I have thought of you & longed to hear that the poor injured hipjoint had || quite recovered itself, so that you may be again able to move about freely. But knowing how many inquiries you must have had to answer, I have refrained from troubling you.
I fear I shall not get to the dear Vaterland this year, but should I do so I should hope to take Jena || on my way & have the pleasure of seeing you once again.
