EDITOR: A. C. SEWARD, BOTANY SCHOOL, CAMBRIDGE
Dec. 2. 1908.
Dear Professor Haeckel,
I am very much obliged to you for the MS. of your article, which shall be translated as soon as possible & sent to you for revision.
It is most kind of you to send the Wanderbilder & other books. I am handing this other Festschrift to the University Librarian from whom you will no doubt hear. I am also giving to the Philosophical Library & to Gadow those you sent for them, & I desire to thank you cordially for the Festrede which you sent for me. ||
I think perhaps you might like to see Prof. Schwalbe’s very interesting Essay on „Darwin’s ‚Descent of Man‘“: he will receive a proof from me in a few days.
I am very glad to see that we shall have the pleasure of welcoming you here in June.
Yours very sincerely
A. C. Seward
