At the meeting of the San Francisco Microscopical Society, held last evening a formal vote of thanks was passed to you, its illustrious corresponding member, for your kind donation to its cabinet of the series of 34 Radiolaria preparations which arrived in perfect condition.
The Society has always felt honored in your acceptance of membership and has always regretted that the many and numerous demands upon your time prevents the occasional receipt of a communication from you. Should such an opportunity ever present itself, be assured || that we should feel most highly complimented.
If the Society, as such, or ist members individually, can ever in any way be of service to you, it hopes that you will regard it as entirely at your command.
