My Dear Prof^r:

Your letter has been sent down to me & has just arrived.

Your altered arrangements will by no means prevent our meeting, but I shall be unable to see you at Belligam. I leave here for Galle on Wednesday next, & from your letter I understand you will also be there.

Trimen will probably come to || Galle on the Thursday or Friday, & I expect to sail on the Saturday or Sunday.

I am staying with my old friend Mr. Green, whom you have met & must have liked much.
