Honoured Sir,

Please accept my best thanks for the two publications which you have so kindly sent me ‒ your „Monism” & the „Festschrift”, I am specially delighted with the latter, and shall treasure it as a memento of one of those three men (Darwin, Haeckel, || Huxley) whom I admire most among the men of our century. Last, but not least, I desire to thank you, both on behalf of Mr. Berens & myself, for your kind words respecting our weak efforts.

Yours most truly

I. Singer

Professor Ernst Haeckel
